High School
The High school (Grades 7 through 12) students are guided to become spiritual, respectful and confident individuals and self-directed learners who are capable of effective communication, independent thought and determined action. Our graduates have learned to view all others as children of God and that we are indeed responsible for ourselves and also for each other. They will take their places in religious and civil communities and, as citizens of a global community, will strive to create a world of peace and justice.
The Honors/AP Program
The Honors/AP Program (Grades 10 through 12) leads to the designation of Honors Graduate. Students who are highly motivated and academically gifted enroll in this program. Classes are challenging at the Advanced Placement and Honors levels. The Advanced Placement (AP) courses taught at Saint Francis School are English Literature and Composition, English Language and Composition, U.S. History, U.S. Government and Politics, Spanish Language, Calculus AB, and Biology.
The College Prep Program
Students in the College Prep Program (Grades 7 through 12) take courses which prepare them for the rigorous curriculum of colleges and universities in Hawaii and abroad.
Curriculum
Programs of study available to students vary depending on when a student enrolls at Saint Francis School.
