Request For Morning Announcements
Submit your Morning News Live requests here using the form below.
Guidelines:
- All announcements must be submitted no later than 2:15pm ONE DAY PRIOR to written announcement/broadcast date. (2:15pm on Friday for Monday’s broadcast)
- Any announcements submitted AFTER 2:15pm WILL NOT to be on the broadcast the following day unless it is a crisis announcement.
- Any crisis announcement must have administrative approval.
- Please limit announcements to 100 words or less.
- Write announcements EXACTLY how you want them to be read (please refrain from shorthand, abbreviations, etc.)
- Announcements will be repeated upon request.
- Morning announcement scripts are emailed every morning to the staff before the broadcast.
- In the event of any connectivity issues, please read the script to your homeroom students.
- Any videos (Event Highlights, Buzzfeed, College Recruiting, News Clips, etc.) will be played on an activity day (Day 2, Day 4, and/or Day 6) which will run during extended homeroom. Availability is on a first come, first serve basis. Please plan accordingly.
- All guest speakers are to be scheduled on an activity day which will run during extended homeroom unless there is an assembly. Availability is based on a first come, first serve basis. Please plan guest speakers 1 week prior to broadcast date.
- The morning broadcast will begin promptly at 8:05am daily unless otherwise specified. The live stream will be active automatically via YouTube Live.
